Oh Happy Day

Today was a day off mixed blessings, time to admit my old West wetsuit having survived four winters was fit for retirement.

But blessed with a new wetsuit 🙂

The knowledgeable staff at #sortedsurfshop know their wetsuits,  their wetsuit warehouse aptly named the #wetsuitcentre is where Jeff and his staff patiently helped me find the ideal winter wetsuit – be prepared to try on a few brands to find the ideal fit for your frame.

I now have a C-Skins Hot Wired 5×4 

I’ll add my review of this wetsuit later on in the season when the sea temperature fully drops out.

Notice both trailing edges required repair work – these top flight paddles are amazingly light and require only minimal maintenance from time to time, (as with all water sports equipment). Consider the abuse a paddle gives the side of a SUP its amazes my there’s not more damage to both – a testament to today’s quality materials and construction methods.

very impressed with its construction the surfboard industry could learn a thing or two from windsurf technology.

Plus 2 FCS style FIN PLUGS needed replacing due to the impact from snapping both front fins.

At least the customer kept his board watertight 🙂

After routering out the damage and rebuilding / fairing multiple layers of fiberglass.
