The above pic is how I received it – a good running repair by the owner

though the resin used had bonding issues.

13fri 010

Old repair site cleaned back to damage and new carbon fiber added.

All finished, enjoy Tony.

 ZRE SUP PADDLE

Lend a paddle to one of your friends and oops snapped in two!

DSC00039

After cutting down the main shaft to remove any signs of damage,

I turned my attention to the bamboo paddle.

DSC00043

The damaged carbon shaft was carefully removed

and re bonded to the newly cut shaft.

DSC00044

The result a slightly shorter SUP paddle though as it’s adjustable it’s still very functional,

and lighter… a bonus for those long distance ocean sweeping sessions 😉

Enjoy Reuben.

This construction is bomb proof – this was some impact!
