HORROR  – “WHAT LIES BENEATH “

I believe in safety first, the grey painted patch didn’t look right on close inspection –

slightly raised areas which had a spongy feeling when pressed,  the above photos say it all.

This SUP (stand up paddleboard is in good hands and will be given a new leash of life.

Result, now to fix the multiple dings up nose.

ssssat 004

I used a white tint to the resin to hide the four dings that needed routering clean – filling and then a layer of glass over the whole nose area wrapped around the rails. This glass panel was required as the nose had stress cracks all over it – notice Rory I squared of the Nose tip to remove damage and now it has a safer profile.

‘The Heart & The Sea’ is the third release from independent Australian filmmaker Nathan Oldfield, the creator of the highly regarded left of centre surf films ‘Lines From a Poem’ and ‘Seaworthy’.

Over three years in the making, ‘The Heart & The Sea’ explores the joy that lies at the very centre of a surfing life: family, friends & a shared intimacy with the sea. Filmed in Australia, New Zealand, France & Spain, this is a gently refreshing & quietly enchanting contribution to the surf film genre.

Beautifully captured and sensitively crafted, ‘The Heart & The Sea’ features Dave Rastovich, Lauren Lindsey Hill, Alex Knost, Tom Wegener, Sage Joske, Brett Caller, Johnny Abegg, Kassia Meador, Clovis Donizetti, Belinda Baggs, Paul Joske, Ryan Burch, Chris Del Moro, Matt Chojnacki, Jared Mell, Dane Peterson, Harrison Roach & many others.

The song featured in this trailer is called ‘Happening For Us’ from Community Radio’s wonderful new album Serious Magic, which has just been released on Bandcamp & iTunes. You can find out more about Community Radio herefacebook.com/communityradiomusic
